The JADP is your entry to IUCG. Led by our JADP Director, JAs undergo a thoughtfully organized, rigorous, semester-long development program preparing them to join IUCG as Analysts. The JADP includes weekly workshops, team projects and presentations, case interview mastery, detailed and thoughtful feedback, personalized professional development support, and camaraderie with the rest of the group. Upon completion of the JADP, JA's become Analysts and will begin working on client engagements.
What is the application timeline?
Applications open mid-semester, every semester. Upon acceptance, Junior Analysts begin at the beginning of the subsequent semester.
Components of the JADP
1
Workshops
IUCG offers a comprehensive workshop series designed to help Junior Analysts (JAs) develop essential skills. JAs participate in workshops covering MBA case studies, industry reports, Excel, financial modeling, research, slide design, and more. In addition to these sessions, JAs meet 2-3 times a week with senior members and the JADP director for tailored guidance. They also have the opportunity to lead weekly lightning talks, sharing their favorite subjects with the group.
2
Case Interview Practice
Our Junior Analysts (JAs) become expert casers by the end of their JADP experience. With access to dozens of senior members who have aced case interviews and landed roles at top consulting firms, JAs learn from the best in the industry. Through targeted practice and feedback, JAs refine their problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills, setting them up for success in any interview setting. Our weekly casing carousel rotates casing partners, giving JAs diverse perspectives. They may even case each other, gaining valuable insight by experiencing the interviewer's perspective firsthand.
3
Client Projects
After completing the majority of the JADP, Junior Analysts (JAs) launch into client engagements led by the JADP Director or IUCG’s Project Director. This is where they put their newly acquired skills to work, solving problems and exploring opportunities for clients, ultimately presenting key recommendations at the end of these abbreviated projects. By the end of the semester, JAs are ready to lead their own workstreams on IUCG’s semester-long client engagements, working with clients ranging from Fortune 500 companies to startups and non-profits.
